When the lengths of the sections specified on the player and recorder are
different, the total length on the recorder changes as a result of the editing.
However, if only the IN point on the player is set, the operation is the same as
in OVERWRITE mode described below, and the total length on the recorder
does not change.

Example: When the player OUT point is not specified
NOTE
If you execute an edit with the IN point only specified on the player, and both
the IN point and OUT point specified on the recorder, then the player OUT
point is calculated automatically, and set. However, if the result of the
automatic calculation leaves the OUT point outside the range of the file on the
player, the OUT point is positioned at the end of the file (last frame) on the
player as shown in the figure below.

However, even if you make modifications as above, the original OUT point is
still brought to the front by cut jump operation.
