Replacing a section on the recorder with another cut specified on
the recorder
To specify the section for a cut to replace a specified position within the same
file on the recorder, use the following procedure.

Press the [ ] key, to select INSERT mode.

Select the recorder port.

Using the jog dial of the BVE-series editor, for example, search for the IN
point.

Holding down the SHIFT key on the MAVE-F555, press the MARK IN
key.
• This specifies the IN point for the source for the replacement cut.

As for the IN point, using the jog dial of the BVE-series editor, for
example, search for the OUT point.

Holding down the SHIFT key on the MAVE-F555, press the MARK OUT
key.
• This specifies the OUT point for the source for the replacement cut.

Now continue from step 8 of the procedure under "Replacing a section on
the recorder with a cut specified on the player" (page 3-20).
