3. Push down on rod end of link cylinder (K)
until hook engages pin on header and is
locked. Check that center link is locked onto
header by pulling upward on rod end of
cylinder.
h. Raise the header fully with the header up switch
on the GSL. Stop engine and remove key.
DANGER
To avoid bodily injury from fall of raised
header, always engage header lift cylinder
stops when working on or around raised
header.

Engage lift cylinder stops on both lift cylinders.

Install pin (F) through header leg, (engaging U-
bracket in lift linkage) on both sides and secure
with hairpin.
NOTE
Install hairpin with open end facing aft.
k. Raise header stand (L) to storage position by
pulling pin (M) and lifting stand into uppermost
position. Release pin (M).

Remove pin from storage position (N) in linkage
and insert in hole (O) to engage float springs.
Secure with hairpin.
m. Disengage lift cylinder stops.
n. Start engine and activate header lift cylinders
(switch on GSL) to lower header fully.
DANGER
Stop engine and remove key from ignition
before leaving operator's seat for any
reason. A child or even a pet could engage
an idling machine.
o. Stop engine and remove key.

HEADER DRIVE HOSES
p. Connect header drive hoses (P) and electrical
harness (Q) to header.
