Chapter 6 Maintenance — Light source/temperature/filter indicators
Temperature indicator <TEMP>
Indicator status
Status
Internal temperature is high (warning).
f Are the intake/exhaust vents blocked?
Cause
f Is the room temperature high?
f Remove any objects that are blocking the intake/exhaust vents.
Solution
f Use the projector in an appropriate operating environment temperature
f Do not use the projector at an altitude of 2 700 m (8 858') or higher above sea level.
*1 For details of operating environment temperature of the projector, refer to "Operating environment temperature" (x page 238).
Note
f If the temperature indicator <TEMP> is still lit or blinking after taking the measures, ask your dealer for repair.
Filter indicator <FILTER>
Indicator status
The filter is clogged.
Status
The ambient or internal temperature is abnormally high.
Cause
f Is the air filter unit dirty?
f Clean or replace the air filter unit.
Solution

Note
f If the filter indicator <FILTER> is still lit or blinking after taking the measures, ask your dealer for repair.
f If the air filter unit is not attached when the projector is turned on, the filter indicator <FILTER> will blink in red.
