Purge Control

19DV equipped with purge control because the refrigerant working with low pressure.
Purge control can be active whenever chiller compressor is ON or OFF with 'Purge on Idle Option'
enabled.
Purge control can be forced to be active whenever chiller compressor is ON or OFF with 'Purge on Idle
Option' enabled. When purge control is forced to be 1 (1 stands for 'purge system force active') or 2(2
stands for 'purge valves force enable'), event 82 should be reported.
When purge system is not forced to be active, purge control should be active when purge inlet
temperature (evap refrig liquid temp when chiller compressor OFF or condenser saturated temperature
when chiller compressor ON) is greater than purge active temperature setpoint.
There will be 3 minutes delay after purge control is active under purge control not forced condition for
this module to do the following actions.
If purge control is forced OR 3 minutes delay is expired for not forced condition then
Purge compressor and purge fan should run at this time.
If chiller compressor is running, condenser solenoid valve should be opened and purge refrigerant from
condenser.
If chiller compressor is not running, compressor solenoid valve shall be opened and purge refrigerant
f rom compressor.
And if Purge Comp Suction Temp is less than purge compressor off temp and the refrigerant level flag is
ON, close compressor solenoid valve and condenser solenoid valve, pump out solenoid valve, purge
discharge valve and purge vacuum pump shall be kept ON for about 5s. After 5s discharge, pump out
solenoid valve, purge discharge valve and purge vacuum pump shall be kept OFF, condenser solenoid
valve shall be opened if chiller compressor is running or compressor solenoid valve shall be opened if
chiller compressor is not running. After 5s discharge, it will start 30s delay. Then, check Purge Comp
Suction Temp again, if it is less than 4 degree F, it will continue cycle of before.
If ref rigerant level in the purge tank is high , or Purge Comp Suction Temp is less than 12F and Purge
Level Switch Low is ON, then drainage solenoid valve should be opened to drain refrigerant from purge
tank to evaporator. After Purge Level Switch Low is OFF, keep lasting this drain process for another 5s,
