3. INSTALLATION
3.1. INSTALLING THE MACHINE
Refer to the Operator's Manual for the installation environment and how to in-
stall and set up the machine.The lever [A] prevents the scanner from moving
during transportation.
Push down this lever [A] to the "UNLOCK" position before power-on.
Important:
1. If you forget to "UNLOCK" the scanner, the SC (Service Call) message will
appear on the display.
If this happens, turn off the machine and unlock the scanner before turn-
ing back on.
2. If you want to move the machine to a different location, you have to lock
the scanner by pushing up the lever [A] to the "LOCK" position, before
transportation.
