Charger Leak Detection:
The machine detects a charger leak error when the FCU CN21-8 stays low
for 3 seconds or more (6 seconds or more at power on) either while in
standby mode or while the corona wire is being charged. When this occurs,
the machine warns the customer by lighting the Call Service indicator (error
code 9-17).

In this machine, a higher corona wire current is used to counter black bands
on copies. The charge on the drum exceeds the zener diode voltage as a re-
sult of this higher current.
