CHAPTER 5 FINAL DRIVE
8.Install the differential assembly into the
carrier housing. →Fig 17
9.Install the original shims(NO.32) and the
new O-ring(NO.31) onto the Rear Axle Box
Cover(NO.33), then assemble the Rear Axle
Box Cover(NO.33) and install the bolts that
secure the cover to the housing. Torque the
bolts in a criss cross pattern to 25-30Nm.

10.Install the pinion gear assembly. Torque
the bolts in a criss cross pattern to 25-30Nm.

11.If previously removed, install the Diff
Solenoid (NO.14) into the carrier cover.
Torque solenoid to 40-55Nm. →Fig 20
