Fuel System Maintenance
Replacing the Fuel Filter
Service Interval: Every 500 hours/yearly (whichever comes first) - Replace the fuel filter more often in dirty or
dusty conditions.
NOTE: If any cable ties or clamps are removed, note the position of the tie and replace after servicing the
fuel filter. If these ties or clamps are removed, damage to the fuel filter may occur.
1. Park the machine on a level surface, disengage the PTO, stop the engine, engage the parking brake, and
remove the key.
2. Allow the machine to cool down.
3. Close the fuel shut-off valve behind the seat.
4. Replace the fuel filter (Figure 29).
