Servicing the Air Cleaner
Service Interval
Daily or before starting engine
Every 25 hours/monthly
(whichever comes first)
Every 100 hours/yearly
(whichever comes first)
Every 200 hours/every 2 years
(whichever comes first)
*More often in dusty/dirty conditions
NOTE: Operating the engine with loose or damaged air cleaner components could allow unfiltered air into
the engine causing premature wear and failure.
NOTE: Service the air cleaner more often under extremely dusty, dirty conditions.
Removing the Elements
1. Park the machine on a level surface, disengage the PTO, move the motion control levers to the brake position,
stop the engine, remove the key and wait for all moving parts to stop before leaving the operating position.
2. Clean around the air cleaner cover to prevent dirt from getting into the engine and causing damage.
MAINTENANCE
• Check for build-up of dirt and debris around the air cleaner system
• Check for loose or damaged components, replace or make appropriate
repairs
• Replace all bent or damaged air cleaner components
• Clean the air cleaner foam element*
• Service the air cleaner paper element*
• Replace the air cleaner foam element*
• Replace the air cleaner paper element*
