Resetting BIOS Password
You can use the A–Series BIOS setup menu to create passwords that users must enter before
they can access the BIOS setup menu. If you need to reset BIOS passwords, you must move a
jumper on the motherboard's three-pin BIOS jumper block.

Resetting A1410 BIOS Passwords
To reset the BIOS password, you must perform several steps on the blade while it is removed
from the chassis. Perform the following steps to reset BIOS passwords on an A1410 blade.
1. Ensure that you have the following components to connect to the blade when it is removed
from the chassis.

2. Remove the blade from the chassis.
3. Remove the top cover panel.
4. The configuration jumper block for the A1410 blade is shown in the following figure. The
default position is normal mode, on jumpers 1 and 2.
The following sections assume that the motherboard is installed in the A–Series blade
and the configuration jumper block is set to normal mode.
