A3000 Chassis
The A3000 chassis is compatible with A1010 blades only. For information about upgrading an
A3000 chassis to a A3100 chassis by adding an expansion backplane, see

The A3000 chassis is a centralized 6U-form factor chassis that holds as many as 10 A1010
blades. A standard 42U, 19-inch rack can hold up to seven A3000 chassis, for a total of 70
A1010 blades. Each A3000 chassis provides all Ethernet and power connections that A1010
blades require.
