Perform the following procedure to adjust/fine-tune the vertical alignment:

CAUTION!
When performing this procedure, be aware of, and adhere to, the
following guidelines:
•
Each adjustment made to the Cap and Set Screws should
be incremental, no more than approximately 1/8 turn in
either direction.
•
If the Cap Screw is turned 1/8 turn clockwise, turn the Set
Screw 1/8 turn counterclockwise.
•
Similarly, if the Cap Screw is turned 1/8 turn
counterclockwise, turn the Set Screw 1/8 turn clockwise.
•
A series of incremental adjustments is recommended.
•
At the end of the procedure the Cap and Set Screws should
be tight.
