Operation

Set the instrument parameters

To set the Instrument parameters:
Select the Instrument Parameters page and specify:

Set the measurement parameters

All measurement parameters are set on the Measurement Parameters page, with
the exception of the Measurement mode and the use of SIPS, which are set on the
Options page.
To set the measurement parameters:

'Instrument mode' (Absorbance or Emission)
'Active lamp' (position 1 or 2, position 1 is the default)
'Active current' for the active lamp
'Standby current' for the standby lamp
'D
correction' – 'On' or 'Off'

'Gas type'
'Wavelength'
Spectral bandwidth (the width of the 'Slit').
Select the Options page and specify:
The 'Measurement mode'.
Whether 'SIPS' is enabled or not. If you choose to enable SIPS, you will
also need to set the SIPS parameters.
Select the Measurement Parameters page and specify:
'Next sample' to be measured
'Batch no'
'Read time'
Number of 'Replicates' (Integration mode only)
'Precision' (PROMT mode only)
'Pre-read delay'
