Position the alignment pin (see Figure 76 above) above the guide in the burner
adjuster.
Lower the burner so that the interlock key enters the guide in the burner
adjuster and the burner neck is inserted into the top of the spray chamber. See
Figure 77 above.
With a slight twisting motion, push the burner down as far as it will go.
Do not touch the burner slot.
Ensure the neck and O-ring are fully inserted into the spray chamber.
Position the burner in the sample compartment with the slot in the burner
aligned along the optical path, (Figure 78 below) and the plate with the
warning towards the front of the instrument.
Squeeze the prongs of the rotation handle together to move the handle left or
right to rotate the burner for alignment (Figure 79 below).
