Maintenance
This chapter describes how to maintain your Agilent 55B AA system.
You should keep a record in your Instrument Log Book of all maintenance carried
out.
CAUTION
Before you remove any hardware, you must shut down the instrument.
Maintenance schedule - general
Daily
Agilent 55B AA Spectrometer User's Guide
Check the exhaust system has positive extraction.
Check the gas supplies.
Check all hoses and connections for damage, leaks and wear.
Clean the instrument.
Clean the burner.
Empty the drain/waste vessels.
Spray chamber and liquid trap - detailed below.
