How to cut the jumper on the sync cable for double doors
Note! The connection/marking of the sync cable determines which of the operators is the MASTER
and SLAVE.
For an Astragal door;
• the Master door must open before the Slave door
• the Slave door must close before the Master door

Double door installations
There are four different types of double door installations:
• Rebated Has an overlapping master door, can be opened synchronously if it is not jamming
and must be closed asynchronously to avoid that the doors will jam or close in the wrong order.
• Jamming This door type needs to be opened and closed asynchronously to avoid that the
doors will jam with each other.
• Not jamming, not rebated This door type has doors that always can move independently of
each other and can be opened and closed synchronously.
• Double egress This door type has doors that opens in different directions which can be opened
and closed independently. This door type may have a different way of handling safety sensors
due to the difference in opening direction of the doors.
