SMART MATRIX Master ↔ SMART MATRIX Slave Connection
In case of large textile machines, you may install two SMART MATRIX TWIST terminals connected to each
other (for instance at the two machine ends), in order to give the operator the possibility to operate on
different machine points. The SM-DIN Boards and the sensors are physically connected to one terminal
(Master), while the second terminal (Slave) acts exclusively as a repeater.
The SLAVE terminal identification code must be equal to the MASTER terminal identification code + 1.
(Example: MASTER code = 5 --> SLAVE code = 6).
The MASTER – SLAVE connection must be carried out as shown on the following figure.
