2.1 Introduction

The PC 5150 Flat screen PC contains a EMBEDED motherboard. The motherboard is
the heart of any computer and is responsible for transmitting, receiving and processing
data as well as driving the different on-board devices. This chapter gives a brief
introduction to the EMBEDED
connectors and the different implementations of the EMBEDED , please refer to the
EMBEDED user guide.

2.2 CPU Support

The EMBEDED installed in the PC 5150 supports socket 478, Intel Pentium 4 /
Celeron D FSB 533 MHz CPU.

2.3 On-board Chipsets

2.3.1 Northbridge and Southbridge Chipsets

The following chipsets are preinstalled on the board:
Northbridge: Intel 852GM

Southbridge: ICH5

2.3.2 852GME Northbridge Chipset
