Holding a T.120 Data Conference

Setting Up the Compact Processor

When you call a remote party to hold a data meeting
Set DATA to T.120 in the Dial Setup menu.
When you receive a call from a remote party to hold a data
meeting
Set DATA to T.120 in the Communication Setup menu.
Note
We recommend to set AUDIO MODE to G.728 & G.722 in the
Dial Setup menu.

Setting Up NetMeeting

Select [NetMeeting] from the start pop-up menu or click
on the NetMeeting icon.

Select [Option] from the [Tools] menu.

Select [Protocols] tab, then click "Null Modem."

Click on the [Properties] button, then select the COM port
to be used.

Click on the [Properties] button, then set the transfer rate to
"115200."
Verify the following settings.
Data bits: 8, Parity: None, Stop bit: 1, Flow control: None

Click on the [OK] button repeatedly until the menu returns
to its first one.

Connecting with NetMeeting

Set the Compact Processor to be on line.

Click on [Calling] at both local and remote.

Set [Address] in the [New call] dialog box to COM1 or
COM2, and [Call Using] to Null Modem.

Click on the [Call] button.
Soon, the connection is established and "T.120" appears on
the screen.
For details on how to use, refer to the NetMeeting file and the
Help menu.
