VCP block :
The VCP block consists of a video communication processor, SRAMs and DRAMs. It performs
frame detection and multiplexing/demultiplexing of the communication data. It also performs
compression/decompression, coding/decoding, P-in-P creation and split display picture creation of
video data. (Refer to Fig. 3-4 8.)
VIDAD block :
The VIDAD block consists of the video decoder, pre-filter ASIC and field memory. It performs
selection of the input video signal, the A/D conversion, the conversion into the Rec.601 data format,
and the filtering process to be the compression/coding of the input video signal efficiently.
(Refer to Fig. 3-4 9.)
VIDDA block :
The VIDDA block consists of the graphics overlay ASIC, SDRAM and video encoder. It performs
overlaying of the graphics data over the video data after the video data has been decoded and expand-
ed. It also performs video encoding and D/A conversion of the video data. (Refer to Fig. 3-4 !-.)
VIDIN block :
The VIDIN block consists of a video selectors, buffers and inductors and capacitors anti-alias filter.
It performs termination of the input video signal, and buffering and selecting of the YC video signal.
(Refer to Fig. 3-4 !/.)
VIDOUT block :
The VIDOUT block consists of a low-pass filters and video drivers. It performs elimination of high-
frequency signals, level setting and driving the video signal in 75 Z. (Refer to Fig. 3-4 !=.)
AC block :
The AC block consists of two pairs of DSP and SRAM, and the serial timing signal generator circuit
that controls the serial timing between DSPs. It performs compression/decompression and coding/
decoding of audio data. It also makes the ringer tone.
(Refer to Fig. 3-4 !].)
EC block :
The EC block consists of two pairs of DSP and SRAMs. It removes acoustic echo and suppresses
audio noise. (Refer to Fig. 3-4 ![.)
AUANA block :
The AUANA block consists of the audio AD/DA converter and audio amplifier. It performs A/D
conversion, D/A conversion and level setting of the input and output audio signals. It also performs
selection of the input audio signals, generation of the voltage to be supplied to microphone and
muting of the output audio signal. (Refer to Fig. 3-4 !\.)
