Adjusting the Sound

Press the MENU button on the Remote Commander.
The Menu (System Configuration Index 1/3) menu appears
on the monitor screen.

Select SYSTEM SETUP with the joy stick, then press it.
The System Setup (System Configuration Index 2/3) menu
appears on the monitor screen.

Select AUDIO CONFIGURATION with the joy stick, then
press it.
The Audio Configuration menu appears on the monitor
screen.

Select LIP SYNC with the joy stick, then press it.
The LIP SYNC items appear.

MIC SELECT : INTERNAL
ECHO CANCELER: ON

Select ON with the joy stick, then press it.

Press the EXEC button on the Remote Commander.
The lip synchronization setting is completed.

Press the CANCEL button on the Remote Commander
repeatedly.
The menu disappears from the monitor screen.

To cancel lip synchronization
Select OFF in step 5.
Note
The lip synchronization function only works for your own
party. To activate the lip synchronization function at the remote
party, you must ask them to do so.

On the Echo canceler

The Compact Processor is equipped with the echo canceler.
When you use the built-in echo canceler, set ECHO
CANCELER to ON in the Audio Configuration menu; when
not in use, set to OFF. If you use an echo canceler of external
audio equipment connected to the system, set ECHO
CANCELER to EXTERNAL. It should normally be set to ON.
