Measuring Cell, Cleaning
Clean the Measuring Cell and the analyzer's sample system. This schedule is a minimum
requirement. If the internal parts are severely contaminated, more frequent cleaning may
be required.
While the Measuring Cell is apart, inspect the o-ring for damage such as nicks, cuts, or
scratches. Replace it if it cannot be re-used. (Typically, the recommended replacement of
this o-ring is annually unless it is damaged.)
See also "Cleaning the Measuring Cell and Replacing its O-Ring" in this chapter.
Every 6 Months
Sample/Vent Lines
Inspect the Sample and Vent Lines for sags, sharp bends, or damage to the outer skin.
If necessary, take appropriate safety precautions and replace the lines. Perform a leak
check on all associated fittings after replacing any lines.

Flamepath Gap
Other
During each analyzer maintenance, use a feeler gauge to check the flamepath gap of the
Electronics Enclosure flanges (enclosure door and housing joining surfaces). The gap
must not exceed 0.08 mm; if the gap exceeds this value, contact AMETEK for advice.
See "Examining and Caring For the Flamepaths" in this chapter.
For information on the required dimensions of other flamepath joints, or if other
flamepaths appear worn or damaged, contact your AMETEK Service Representa-
tive.
