DC injection brake (Pr. 10 to Pr. 12)

The FR-E700SC EC frequency inverter has an adjustable DC brake function.
This function uses the eddy current brake principle, stopping the motor by applying a pulsed DC volt-
age to the motor stator.
The pulsed DC voltage applied to the motor stator can achieve stopping torques of around 25 to 30%
of the motor's rated torque.
