Cooling fan operation selection (Pr. 244)

You can control the operation of the cooling fan (FR-E720S-050SC or more, FR-E740-040SC or more)
built in the inverter.

The above parameter can be set when Pr. 160 "User group read selection" = 0.
In either of the following cases, fan operation is regarded as faulty, "FN" is shown on the operation
panel, and the fan fault "FAN" and alarm "LF" signals are output.
Pr. 244 = "0"
When the fan comes to a stop with power on.
Pr. 244 = "1"
When the fan stops during the fan ON command while the inverter is running.
For the terminal used for FAN signal output, set "25" (source logic) or "125" (sink logic) to any of Pr. 190
to Pr. 192 "Output terminal function selection", and for the LF signal, set "98" (source logic) or "198"
(sink logic).
NOTE
When terminal assignment is changed using Pr. 190 to Pr. 192 "Output terminal function selec-
tion", the other functions may be affected. Please make setting after confirming the function of
each terminal.
