Step 10 Clean the Encoder Sheet after applying grease to the Guide Rod.
Move the carriage to the left end side by hand.
Using a dry Lint Free Wipe , remove lint and ink or grease adhering to the Encoder Sheet.
Fold the ling free wipe over the encoder so that both sides of the encoder are touched by
the lint free wipe and gently pinch the between the lint free wipe. Only apply light pressure
as to not damage the encoder.
Move the carriage
Feeler Sensor
Encoder Strip
to clean the entire Encoder Sheet.
