Carefully install a cartridge in the correct position. During the initial ink charging, do not lift the front cover. Also, do not pull out the ink cartridge.

Before diluting, shake the bottle of pretreatment liquid 10-20 times to agitate. If sediment remains at the bottom of the bottle, shake the bottle additional times. • Dilute the RICOH-authorized pretreatment liquid (i.e., PowerBright Pretreatment liquid) with a 1.5- time volume amount of distilled water (2:1).

2. Printing RICOH Ri 2000 User Manual • Fill the sprayer reservoir with the mixture. It is very important to use distilled water. Tap water, well water, or filtered water could have mineral content that can affect the performance of the pre- treatment.

Too much pre-treatment can leave dark areas on the garments. Too little pre-treatment can make the prints look dull. The performance of white ink is highly dependent on the proper application of pre-treatmen.
2. Printing RICOH Ri 2000 User Manual 2.3. Setting the Garment (For Cotton Garments) Flatten the garment by using a heat press Read the heat press manual carefully and use the press according to the safety precautions. Otherwise, injury or burns could result.

2. Printing RICOH Ri 2000 User Manual 2.4. Adjusting the Height of the Platen This machine adjusts the height of the platen automatically. The height adjustment of the platen must be performed before printing a garment. The adjustment result will be reset 2 hours after the last print.

If you change the type of garment to be printed since the last time you adjusted the height, be sure to adjust the height again.
