Typically, when the count reaches 80% the part will appear yellow on the screen. When it reaches
100% it will appear red. When the part has been replaced (or emptied in the case of the sumps)
press the Replace button and the count will reset to 0%.
Note: The printer will still function even after parts have exceeded their service life although it is
highly suggested that the part be replaced as the part may fail soon which may lead to other part
failures – This is true EXCEPT for the INK sumps - the ink Sumps must be drained when they have
reached 100% as the machine will not be able to print or conduct auto maintenance.
5.1 Fan filter replacement
There are 4 fan filters in the printer - two for the white carriage and two for the color carriage. They
are located as shown.
