- Page 3 Step 1. Check firmware version on printer. Update firmware on printer to version 1.31 or newer if older version installed. See firmware update guide for instructions. Step 2. Clean the Maintenance Station, remove the white ink cartridges. Step 3. Insert cleaning cartridges into white ink slots Step 4.
- Page 4 Step 6. Press [CLEANER CHARGING] Step 7. Select [White]. Step 8. Confirm by pressing [YES] to charge the system with cleaning solution. Note: The first charge is considered a light charge . Leave the cleaning cartridges in and do not turn off the printer. The printer will be doing essential auto cleans with the cleaning carts to prevent nozzle clogging.
