[AL. 095_STO warning]

• STO input signal turned off during servo motor stop.
[AL. 095.1_STO1 off detection]
Cause
1.
STO1 was not inputted correctly.
2.
While detection by [AL. 063 STO timing error]
has been enabled, STO1 was turned off
(enabled) under the following speed
conditions.
• Rotary servo motor speed: 50 r/min or lower
• Linear servo motor speed: 50 mm/s or lower
• Direct drive motor speed: 5 r/min or lower
3.
The servo amplifier has malfunctioned.
4.
STO is off (enabled) when a safety component
such as the safety logic unit MR-J3-D05 is
being used. The safety component has a
problem.

Cause
1.
STO2 was not inputted correctly.
2.
While detection by [AL. 063 STO timing error]
has been enabled, STO2 was turned off
(enabled) under the following speed
conditions.
• Rotary servo motor speed: 50 r/min or lower
• Linear servo motor speed: 50 mm/s or lower
• Direct drive motor speed: 5 r/min or lower
3.
The servo amplifier has malfunctioned.
Check/action method
Refer to the wiring diagram and correct the wiring. When the STO function is
not used, install the short-circuit connector attached to the servo amplifier on
CN8.
Refer to "USING STO FUNCTION" in the following manual.

Turn on STO1 (disabled).
Review the settings of "STO timing error selection" with the following
parameters.

[G] [WG]: [Pr. PF06.1 STO timing error selection]
Replace the servo amplifier, then check the repeatability.
Take corrective actions according to the troubleshooting for the safety
component being used.
Check/action method
Refer to the wiring diagram and correct the wiring. When the STO function is
not used, install the short-circuit connector attached to the servo amplifier on
CN8.
