Description
Please explain how to replace the staple case for Saddle Stitch Unit.
Field Remedy
When the cartridge of Saddle Stitch Unit for Saddle Finisher-AM2 is empty of staples and the staple case needs to be replaced, the animation screen indicating the
replacement of the staple case is displayed on the Touch Panel display. Saddle Finisher-AM2 is located in the following location of the overall view.
[Caution]
- Even when the cover of the installed option is opened to replace the staple case, remove the cutting/punching/staple waste or remove a paper or staple jam, a copy/
print output to correctly operating options may be performed. Installed options should be carefully handled.
- Before replacing the staple case of Saddle Stitch Unit, remove all paper that has been output to the booklet tray.

This process is performed only when the Saddle Finisher-AM2 is installed. (The Saddle Finisher-AM2 is an option.)
There are 2 staple cases and both front and rear cases need to be replaced.
