Sicherheitshinweise
• Kontrolle der Gastemperatur zum Patienten
Die Gastemperatur sowie die abgegebene
Energie wird im Gerät erfasst. Bei einem
Systemfehler wird die Heizung abgeschaltet
werden. Die Farbe des Symbols für die
Patientenschlauchheizung ändert sich von weiß
nach rot. Eine Insufflation von (kaltem) CO
jedoch weiterhin möglich.
Das Gerät stellt somit sicher, dass die
Gastemperatur nicht über 41 °C steigt.
• Passive Sicherheitsmaßnahmen
– Die Druck- und Durchflusserfassung ist
redundant ausgeführt.
– Beide Druckregelstufen sowie die
Flowerfassung sind mit Sicherheits-
ablassventilen ausgestattet.
– Überwachung der Funktion des
mechanischen Hochdruckreglers
1 HINWEIS: Erkennt das Überwachungssys-
tem einen Fehler, welcher eine sichere Funk-
tion als unmöglich erscheinen lässt, wird das
Gerät in den »Sicheren Zustand« überführt.
Aus diesem Zustand kann das Gerät nur
durch Abschalten der Stromversorgung
zurückgesetzt werden.
Safety instructions
• Checking the gas temperature to the patient
The gas temperature and the energy output are
recorded in the device. If a system error occurs,
the heating will be switched off. The color of
the symbol for the patient tube heating changes
from white to red. Insufflation with (cold) CO
ist however, still possible.

The device thus ensures that the gas
temperature does not exceed 41°C.
• Passive safety measures
– The pressure and flow measurement systems
have a redundant stand-by.
– Both pressure control stages and the flow
measurement are equipped with safety
pressure release valves.
– The function of the mechanical high pressure
regulator is monitored.
1 NOTE: If the monitoring system recognizes
an error which renders safe functioning
seemingly impossible, the device is
transferred into a "safe state". From this
state, the device can only be reset by turning
off the power supply.

• Control de la temperatura del gas al paciente
Tanto la temperatura del gas como la energía
producida se registran en el aparato. En caso de
error en el sistema, el calefactor se desconecta.
El color del símbolo para el calefactor del tubo
is, flexible para el paciente cambia de blanco a

rojo. Sin embargo, todavía sigue siendo posible
una insuflación de CO (frío).

• Medidas pasivas de seguridad
– El registro de la presión y del flujo se ejecuta
de manera redundante.
– Las dos etapas de regulación de la presión y
el registro de flujo están provistos de válvulas
de descarga de seguridad.
– Control de funcionamiento del regulador
mecánico de alta presión
1 NOTA: Si el sistema de control detecta un
error que impida un funcionamiento seguro,
el aparato pasa al "Safe State" (Estado se-
guro). El aparato sólo puede abandonar este
estado y restablecerse desconectando la
alimentación de corriente.
