Specifying the processor mode
Select the appropriate processor mode that suits your system. For the
R8C/Tiny Series, you can specify only the following processor mode.
- Single-chip Mode:
Referring to the MCU pin status
This column shows the state of each MCU pin. For the R8C/Tiny series,
however, it does not show the MCU pin state.
Debug option setting
Optional settings are not used for the R8C/Tiny series. Always be sure to
leave the check box for optional settings unselected.
Specifying the emulation memory allocation
This tab is not used for R8C/Tiny.
Be sure to deselect the emulation memory allocation check boxes when
using.
Setting to clear the MCU's internal flash ROM
Specify whether or not you want the MCU's internal flash ROM to be
cleared when downloading the user program or data. (When cleared, the
content of the flash ROM is initialized to 0xFF.) The MCU's internal flash
ROM is listed in block units.
- Any block which has had its check box selected is not cleared when
downloading. Since the flash ROM in this product is cleared to 0x4h
(NOP instruction) when the emulator starts up, the memory contents
in the blocks that are not overwritten upon downloading are 0x4h
(NOP instruction).
- Any block which has had its check box deselected is cleared when
downloading.
- Click the Select All button, or the Clear All button, all blocks will be
selected or deselected
The option you have specified here remains effective the next time you start
up.
