Hardware Diagnostics

Hardware diagnostics is a test to check the hardware within the C Controller module.
Hardware diagnostics is useful in the following situations:
• Initial operation
• Troubleshooting
During hardware diagnostics, do not power OFF or reset the C Controller system.
Otherwise, the C Controller module may no longer be started up normally.
If such situation occurs, initialize the C Controller module.

In the hardware diagnostics test, diagnostics on the following items are performed.

Diagnostic test of Mode 1 to
Conducts tests in the order from Mode 1 to Mode 6.

Reads the ROM data and performs error detection.
Work RAM diagnostic test
Checks test data by writing/reading/verifying them on the work RAM.
Battery backup RAM
Checks test data by writing/reading/verifying them on the battery backup

Ethernet diagnostic test
Diagnoses the status of the Ethernet port (CH1, CH2 and S CH1).
SD memory card interface
Diagnoses the SD memory card slot status.
diagnostic test
Conducts a self-loopback test of RS-232 connector (CH3).
RS-232 diagnostic test
The wiring for self-loopback is required.
USB diagnostic test
Diagnoses the status of the USB connector (USB1, USB2).
Bus diagnostic test
Writes/reads/verifies the memory of the internal bus and register.
Dot matrix LED test
Shows the dot matrix LED test display.
