(1) Mode switching
The following explains the procedure to switch the basic mode with the extended mode.
Check
Backup parameter setting file
Backup the parameter setting files.
Select [Online] - [Read parameter] - [Save files] to backup the parameter
setting files of the system which is currently operating.
Backup user program
Backup the user program using the following method.
Use FTP or CF card.
Select operation type
Select the following mode with the module initialization setting and perform initialization.
Mode 12: Module initialization setting (Extended mode)
Acquire image file of operating system
Acquire the operating system image file from Q12DCCPU-V (Extended
mode) using the FTP function.
Convert parameter setting file
Convert the backup parameter file to the parameter file which can be handled by extended
mode using Setting/monitoring tools for the C Controller module (SW4PVC-CCPU).
Select [Project]-[Open another format data]- [Open parameter setting file]
to convert the backup parameter file.
Write parameter setting file
Write the converted parameter file to Q12DCCPU-V (Extended mode)
whose operation mode has been changed.
Select [Online]-[Write to CCPU] to write the parameter.
Check the operation
Check the operation after changing the operation mode.
Check if the module can be connected with Setting/monitoring tools for
the C Controller module, and set the parameter.
