6.6.3

EXU cable entry with EMC plate and sealing grommets

This section applies to drives that are delivered with an EXU.
1. Insert the power cables through the EMC plates into the cabinet.
Note: Depending on the cable entry configuration, the entry plate is
either on the top or on the bottom of the cabinet.
2. Cover the unused cable entry with a blanking plate.

(1) Top cable entry
If the cabinet is only accessible from the front and the cables are entered
through the bottom, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the front cover and, if present, unplug the heating cable and
remove the cross brace with the heating cable.
2. Remove the cover above the fan unit.
3. Remove the fan unit as explained in "10.4.17 Replacing the fan unit in
an EXU with a DCS800 D4 size controller" on page 270.
4. Unplug the fan power supply cables and the tube from the air
pressure switch.
