Setting the delay time

To specify the starting characteristics of the project after switching on the HMI device, you
can set a delay time. The delay time is a period in which the loader is displayed on the HMI
device. If you operate the loader during this time period, the project no longer starts
automatically.
Requirement
The Control Panel is open.
Procedure
Proceed as follows:
1. Open the "Transfer Settings" dialog with the Transfer icon.
2. Open the "Directories" tab.

Result
The delay time for the HMI device is now set.

NOTICE
Settings under "Project File" and "Path"
The project may not open the next time the HMI device is started if changes are made in
the "Project File" and "Path" text boxes.
Do not change the entries in the "Project File" and "Path" text boxes.
Select the desired delay time under "Wait [sec]".
– "0": The Loader is not displayed. The project is then started immediately when the
HMI device is switched on. To open the Control Panel of the HMI device, configure an
operating element to close Runtime in the project.
– "1" to "5": The project starts when the delay time comes to an end.
– "forever": The project does not start automatically. The loader is displayed when the
HMI device is switched on.
