Backup registry information

You can install and uninstall your own programs on the HMI devices under Windows CE.
You need to back up the registry settings after installation or removal.
You can back up the following data to the internal memory:
● Registry Information
● Temporary files
Restoring the file system of a memory card
If a memory card other than the SIMATIC HMI Memory Card ≥ 2 GB is used, the file system
on the memory card may be damaged, for example in the event of a power failure. The HMI
device detects the defective file system on start-up or when the memory card is inserted.
The HMI device can, on request, attempt to restore damage files. Note that not all damaged
files may be able to be restored.
Requirement
The Control Panel is open.
Procedure
Proceed as follows:
1. Open the "OP Properties" dialog with the OP icon.
2. Open to the "Persistant Storage" tab.
3. To back up registry entries to the internal memory of the HMI device, press "Save
