Assigning sound to an event

When acoustic feedback is activated, a sound is used to report an event. You can select the
sound to reflect the event. The sound is output by the loudspeaker of the HMI device.
Note
Acoustic feedback with sounds is support from the 7" models.
Requirement
The Control Panel is open.
Procedure
Proceed as follows:
1. Open the "Volume & Sounds Properties" dialog with the Volume & Sounds icon.
2. Open the "Sound" tab.
3. Under "Event", select the event to which you wish to assign a sound.
4. Select the desired sound for the event under "Sound":
5. Confirm your entries with "OK".
Result
The sound is set for acoustic feedback on operations.

Events that already have a sound assigned are labeled with a speaker symbol.
– Select either a standard Windows sound or use "Browse" to select a "*.WAV" file from
the file system.
– Test the sound with "Play" if needed.
– Stop the output "Stop" if needed.
