Cleaning the touch screen

Xerox 495 Continuous Feed Duplex Printer Operator Guide
From time to time you may want to clean the touch screen. In order to do
this the screen needs to be deactivated to prevent unwanted selections.
The screen will remain deactivated for 10 seconds after the last contact
you make with it.
To clean the touch screen:
1. Press the Tools tab, then the Screen tab.
2. Press the Clean button.
The screen goes blank and is deactivated. It will be reactivated if left
untouched for 10 seconds.
3. Clean the screen using a lint-free cloth and a non water-based
screen cleaner.
Note: You should only use a screen cleaning product that is non-
water-based as water-based products may cause problems to the
touch features of the screen.
4. Once the screen has been cleaned, do not touch it until the user
interface is displayed (about 10 seconds).
