Requirements for iSCSI targeting

The x722 Network Adapter on the ProLiant e910 server blade requires specific BIOS settings before the storage volume on
the blade can be designated as an iSCSI target.
For a successful RHEL installation on an iSCSI bootable volume:
Boot into the UEFI BIOS, and then configure the setting found at BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Network
Options > iSCSI Configuration for iSCSI Initiator. This setting enables support for iSCSI Boot Firmware Table (iBFT).
Use the most recent Anaconda RHEL installer to add the storage volume as an iSCSI target.
For detailed information about using the Anaconda installer and iBFT restrictions, see https://access.redhat.com/
documentation/en-us/red_hat_enterprise_linux/7/html/installation_guide/appe-iscsi-disks.

Connecting iLO to the network

Connect iLO to the network through a production network or a dedicated management network.
iLO uses standard Ethernet cabling, which includes CAT 5 UTP with RJ-45 connectors. Straight-through cabling is necessary
for a hardware link to a standard Ethernet hub or switch.
For more information about setting up your hardware, see the server user guide.

Do not disable the iLO Dedicated Network Port

HPE iLO provides an option on the iLO Dedicated Network Port > General page, in the NIC Settings section for disabling the
iLO Dedicated Network Port. Disabling this port also removes the ability for the iLO to communicate the Edgeline EL8000
