Configure hardware settings and install an operating system

To configure and install your HPE ProLiant server, do the following:
• Complete the Intelligent Provisioning setup wizard
• Install the operating system
Completing the Intelligent Provisioning setup wizard
The first time you access Intelligent Provisioning on an HPE server, you must complete the first time setup wizard. These basic
settings enable Intelligent Provisioning to display the proper language and time, set basic boot options, and communicate on
your network. Entries marked with an asterisk (*) are required.
Prerequisites
• Your server is installed and ready for use, including any network cabling
• The initial credentials from the server tag
Procedure
1. On the Intelligent Provisioning main screen, click First Time Set Up Wizard.
2. Select an Interface Language, Keyboard Language, and Time Zone, or accept the defaults.

Powers off or reboots the server.
