Example of error messages and remedies
If the problem continues after you have done the remedies described in
the table below, please contact your service provider or Permobil. For
contact information, see 1.2 Technical support .
Event
One flash
The connection to the batteries is poor or the
batteries needs to be charged.
Two flashes
The connection to the left drive unit is poor.
Three flashes
The left drive unit has a short-circuit to the
battery connection.
Four flashes
The connection to the right drive unit is poor.
Five flashes
The right drive unit has a short-circuit to the
battery connection.
Seven flashes
Joystick error
Eight flashes
Error in the control system.
Nine flashes
Poor connection to the parking brake.
Ten flashes
Excessive voltage to the control system, which is
probably caused by poor connection to the
batteries.

Repairing defective units
Apart from specific OEM-approved spare parts, there are no replaceable
parts in the nVR2 control system. Contact Permobil for further
information on OEM-approved spare parts.

Remedy
Make sure that the connections to the batteries
are correct.
Charge the batteries.
Make sure that the connection to the left drive
unit is correct.
Investigate if an electrical fault has occurred.
If necessary, you may need to replace the left
drive unit.
Make sure that the connection to the right drive
unit is correct.
Investigate if an electrical fault has occurred.
If necessary, you may need to replace the right
drive unit.
1. Make sure that the joystick is in the neutral
position.
2. Press the on/off button to turn off the control
panel.
3. Remove the tray top to make sure that the
LEDs on the control panel are off.
4. Press the on/off button to turn on the control
panel again.
Make sure that all connections are secured.
The parking brake function should not be
available. Make sure that the device is correctly
programmed.
Make sure that the connections to the batteries
are correct.
