Batteries
The following tools are necessary for this task:
WARNING!
Turn off the main circuit breaker
Always turn off the main circuit breaker when you do service on the batteries.

Use safety gloves and safety goggles
Always use safety gloves and safety goggles when working with batteries.
Exercise caution when using metallic tools or other objects while working with
batteries. Batteries are heavy and charged devices and must be handled with
great caution. Failure to follow any of these warnings could cause a short
circuit, explosion, property damage and/or bodily harm.

Handling batteries - avoid short-circuit
Exercise caution when using metallic objects during work with batteries. A
short-circuit can easily cause an explosion. Always use safety gloves and
goggles.
Remember that the batteries are heavy and must be handled with great
caution.
CAUTION!
Recycling batteries
Used batteries must be disposed of responsibly in accordance with local
recycling regulations.
4.10.1
Charging the batteries
The Explorer Mini must only be charged with the supplied battery
charger in a dry room with good ventilation. There is a green LED on
the battery charger that is lit when the battery is fully charged. Read the
user manual supplied with the battery charger.
While the Explorer Mini charges, it is automatically locked and cannot
be driven. The LEDs on the battery indicator show the battery status.

CAUTION!
Sharp edges on cable
Be careful when connecting the cable to the socket. The edges of the three-pin
contact are sharp.
