Installing the caster wheels

The following tools are necessary for this task:
• Box-end wrench, 17 mm
• Torque wrench.
• Allen socket, 8 mm.
1. Adjust the table and backrest unit to its highest position. For
instructions, see
5.1.2.1 Adjusting the height of the table and backrest unit .
2. Tilt the Explorer Mini 90° and put it on the floor with the positions
for the caster wheels accessible.
3. Rotate each caster wheel to access the positions for the nut and the
screw to each caster wheel.
4. Attach the nut and the screw to each caster wheel. Tightening
torque: 17.7 lb. ft.
WARNING!
Use recommended tightening torque
Use the recommended tightening torque to reduce the risk of damage to the
wheelchair and to prevent causing injury to the user.
