The following is the flowchart of setup by the ft series Setup program:
Preparation for installing Windows 2000
: Entered or selected by the
user
: Proceeds automatically
Make setting of BIOS
Run [Setup] from NEC EXPRESSBUILDER top menu
Get ready to install Windows2000 Advanced Server
and ft control software
Enter the product ID of Windows 2000
Specify the size of the partition to install the OS
Insert Windows 2000 Advanced Server CD-ROM
Copy OS module to hard disk
Insert Windows 2000 Service Pack CD-ROM
Automatic installation starts:
Windows2000 Advanced Server
ft control software
NEC ESMPRO Agent
VERITAS Volume Manager
Windows2000 Setup Wizard starts
Agree to the terms of software license
Enter user name and company name
Set dual LAN configuration
Set dual disk configuration
Do necessary post-installation work
Setup completed
