To check the firmware version of a RCP-ME using DashBoard
1.
Launch DashBoard.
2.
In the Basic Tree View, expand the node for the required RCP-ME.
3.
Double-click the Panel Config node.
The Panel Config interface opens.
The firmware version is shown in the Version field located at the top of the interface.
Upgrading the Firmware Version
Firmware upgrade files can be obtained by contacting Ross Video Technical Support.
To upgrade the RCP-ME firmware
1.
Launch DashBoard.
2.
In the Basic Tree View, expand the node for the required RCP-ME.
3.
Double-click the Panel Config node.
The Panel Config interface opens.
4.
Click
Send Firmware
The Open file dialog opens.
5.
Navigate to where you have stored the firmware file and select it.
6.
Click
.
Open
The Confirm Upload dialog opens.
7.
Click
.
Continue
A progress bar displays. When the upload has completed, a confirmation dialog opens.
8.
Click
.
OK
9.
Click
to restart the device and activate the new firmware.
Reboot
Troubleshooting the Upgrade
If you encounter problems when upgrading your RCP-ME, verify the following:
• Your network settings on the RCP-ME are valid.
• The ethernet cable is properly connected.
• The file you are attempting to load is the correct file for the panel you are upgrading.
