Salvos
This chapter provides instructions for assigning a salvo to a button and how the RCP-ME uses salvos.
What is a salvo?
A salvo is a predefined list of switch events. Salvos are stored within a central controlling device such as an Ultrix
router or Ultricore Central Controller and may be accessed by any Remote Control Panel within the system. Salvo
names are handled by the central controlling device and update the RCP-ME salvo names list automatically.
Assigning a Salvo to a Button
This function is only available when connected to an Ultrix router or Ultricore Central Controller.
To assign a salvo to a button
1.
Open the RCP-ME Panel Config interface (see "To open the RCP-ME Panel Config interface" on page 22).
2.
On the simulated RCP-ME, select the button that you want to use for the display.
The Button dialog opens.

In the Button list, select

Use the Value list to select one of the Salvo names.
5.
Send the current configuration file to the device (see "To send the current configuration to a panel" on
page 74).
Using a Salvo

To use a salvo
1.
Create a salvo as outlined in the Ultrix or Ultricore documentation.
2.
Press the assigned
Salvo to a Button" on page 55.
3.
If a
button is assigned to the menu, press
