Basic Use of SolidView Pro V650
As with all additive manufacturing processes, reducing the z height reduces print time.
However, be aware that orienting the part horizontally can emphasize layer stepping.
The part support parameters supplied via the SolidView Pro V650 algorithm will work in most
cases without editing. For more dense or complex geometry advanced support design might
be necessary with 3rd party software like Magics RP.
Stereolithography Additional Considerations
The base set of build styles is designed to build the most common type of parts. For more
complex parts the build style might need tuning.
Recoat speed can affect build. For example, it may be best to slow down the blade if there
is a large flat area. This will allow proper wetting of the layer and not starve the blade.
A pre-scan delay allows thicker resin to settle before lasing.
Line width and spot size can speed up or slow down a build.
If a single sweep is used, do not build on the back of the platen. This will prevent blade
shadow
