2. Remove the transceiver from the server.
3. Open the SFP+ transceiver latch and remove the LC cable connector.
4. Remove the SFP+ transceiver from the System Node.

5. Record the serial number of the failed device for return purposes.

3.1.3.2 Installing a SFP+ transceiver

To install a replacement SFP+ transceiver:
1. Open the latch on the SFP+ transceiver.
